Becoming Our Patient

Your GP, physiotherapist or another health professional may have referred you to us, or you may have searched online or been recommended to us. We are here to help and guide you through the process of getting you back to your best.

Booking an Appointment

If you have decided which of our consultants you would like to see and where or have been referred to a particular Consultant, you can book an appointment online or call us on 03300010048.

If you have been referred by a health professional, please forward us the referral letter.

All patients can refer themselves and do not require referral letters.

Self Paying

Self-paying patients will be informed of the cost of the consultation at booking. Please note that the consultation fee does not include scans, any additional investigations, and treatment that may be needed. Please see our fee page for more information.

Insured

If you have Private Health Insurance, you will need to contact your insurance provider for authorisation before booking your appointment. Your insurance company will usually authorise the initial consultation, investigations, and a follow-up appointment. Depending on the insurer and type of cover, some patients may have to pay and claim afterward.

We only work with a selected group of insurance, please check with us if you are unsure.

Happy Patient

Refer a patient

We welcome referrals for musculoskeletal problems,

pre-hab, rehab and performance medicine.

If you know to which Consultant you are referring, please include this in your referral letter and e-mail to referral@mskdoctors.com

If you are unsure, we are happy to triage your referral and allocate the patient to the most appropriate Consultant.

You can also contact us by telephone on 03300010048 if you have any further queries.

We would be grateful if you could forward any images or reports relevant to the patient’s condition. If it is possible, we would like the images according to our protocol below.

Doctor's Desk

Preparing for your
1st appointment

Please collect all operative photos, operative reports, typed radiology reports, MRI’s, and x-rays images for the affected joint.

Please understand that the healthcare system is not connected. You are the only person who can access your past medical history. If you would like us to collect this information, you will need to complete an information request form. There will be an administration fee and the process could take several weeks.

Please make sure that you complete our Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS) data.
