Professor Lee is double board certified in orthopaedic surgery. Besides his routine clinical practice of hip and knee conditions, he is an expert in Sports & Regenerative surgery. With a published track record of treating UK premiership footballers, he is regarded as an expert in sports medicine and has regular contact with elite sports teams.

Mr Yewlett is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in both surgical and regenerative treatments of shoulder, elbow and hand conditions and sports injuries. He provides a “one” stop shoulder ultrasound diagnostic service and is a high volume shoulder arthroplasty surgeon.

Mr Marudanayagam obtained his primary medical qualification (MBBS) from JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Education and Research), a reputed teaching hospital and Research Institute in Pondicherry, India in 1996. He obtained Diploma in Orthopaedics in 1998 and DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Orthopaedics in 2000, FRCS (Glasg) in 2003 and FRCS (Trauma& Orthopaedics) in 2010. Mr Marudanayagam undertook a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle surgery at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. He was appointed as Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics with special interest in Foot & Ankle surgery.

Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon

Mr Moideen is a Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon focusing on all aspects of spinal surgery including degeneration, trauma, tumour, infection, and deformity. He completed his basic training in South Wales, rotating through accident and emergency, trauma and orthopaedics, ENT, general surgery, and plastic surgery. Mr Moideen higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics was based in Welsh Deanery and he successfully completed a fellowship exam from Royal College of Surgeons.

Dr Yan Wen

Senior AI Software Developer

Dr. Yan responsible for developing the AI system for precise knee disorders diagnosis, as well as AI-boosting MRI imaging reconstruction. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Lincoln, UK. His research interests include computer vision and machine learning in medical imaging and AI infrastructure development. He has worked as a research assistant in the Laboratory of Vision Engineering research group at the University of Lincoln to manage the Lab AI servers. He contributed to many projects, such as lung nodule detection project funded by the CRUK and the MyHealthAvatar project funded by EPSRC, experienced with working with the NHS Foundation Trust Hospitals. He also has expertise in portable machine learning, networking and the IoT. As an experienced Senior Scientific Developer and project manager in agile environments, Yan will lead the WP2 to deliver AI infrastructure  and will encourage effective knowledge transfer between the team to allow for resources to be easily swapped, which eliminates the risk of having a single point of failure element in the system.

George is senior developer for the MSK digital platform, a diligent software engineer with 5+ years of experience in commercial application and software development. He possesses expertise in technology and is proficiency in writing code to produce dependable and user-friendly systems. He has successfully led and supervised a team in creating aesthetically pleasing and highly functional websites for clients.  He has reduced downtime by 25%, ensuring projects were completed on time with a 98% success rate. Additionally, he has identified/addressed a critical process bottleneck, resulting in a 35% improvement in coding efficiency. His technical expertise spans PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Python, React.js, Jquery, Node.js, SQL (MySql, PostgreSQL), MongoDB, Jest, and Enzyme. He will lead the WP5 for the front end development and system integration. He will play the role of Scrum Master, ensuring the team follows an agile practice, clearing obstacles, addressing team dynamics, facilitating the communication with the product owner and stakeholders and protecting the team from external interruptions.
